Governor of Wyoming

Matt Mead was sworn in as Wyoming’s 32nd Governor on January 3, 2011. Born in Jackson, Wyoming, Governor Mead was raised on the family ranch in Teton County. He has a law degree from the University of Wyoming and a BA degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. The Governor has served as a county and federal prosecutor, practiced in a private firm, and served as United States Attorney for Wyoming from October 2001 to June 2007. Since taking office, he has put a focus on economic growth, a state energy strategy, consolidation of government services, supporting local government and enhancing infrastructure, and creating additional access to high-speed broadband.

Born on February 7, 1952 in Narberth, Pennyslvania, John Hickenlooper is a pro-business entrepreneur who is the current Democratic governor of Colorado. His professional background is varied: He was a geologist and eventually became an owner of a thriving beer brewing company. In 2003 he became the mayor of Denver and served two terms before being elected governor of the state in 2011.

CEO, Startup Weekend & CEO, Telluride Venture Accelerator

Marc Nager (pronounced Naw-ger) is the CEO and Co-Founder of Startup Weekend as well as CEO of the Telluride Venture Accelerator. Both a Swiss and US citizen, Marc has enjoyed an amazing 26 years enjoying the outdoors, pursuing seemingly risky endeavors, and traveling down multiple career paths. He’s developed a passion for understanding labor trends and has spoken extensively on the future of work.

Senior Communications Manager, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

The plan was to “ski bum” for one winter, a common story in mountain towns, but for this Virginia native, Jackson, WY is now home. Anna has worked for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) for over 10 years in a variety of capacities, allowing her to understand the complexities of the ski industry from many vantage points. As the Senior Communications Manager for JHMR Anna works collaboratively with the community, athletes and influencers to grow awareness around what Jackson Hole has to offer through social media, PR and other creative media initiatives. When not skiing from the Aerial Tram, look for Anna out on the trails with her husband Eric and dog, Maple May.

His talk at Outdoor Bloggers Summit will focus on increasing traffic and reach while increasing your brand awareness.

A Texas native, Rachael lives in NYC’s East Village and spends her off time restaurant hopping dog friendly spots in the city with her rescue dachshund Chance.
